Kitchen Appliances Make Me Weepy In a Good Way

We received a package in the mail this week, and because we've been ordering various Christmas presents all month, I opened it without thinking.  Turns out, it was a present from my mama that wasn't meant to be opened quite yet.  Oops.

Behold:

The food processor!  I'm so excited!  Thanks, mom.  I'm totally going to make sure your room in the home has a window. 

(That's funny only because she knows my real intention is that she retire, move in with me, and never leave.  I love my mama.)

Last night, I broke it in by making salsa verde for homemade enchiladas. 

So yum.  I have so many plans!
