As we filled out the forms for Lily's first vet appointment:
Joe: Should we spell Lily with one "l" or two?
me: Does it matter?
Joe: If we spell it with one "l" does it look like it should be pronounced "Lie-ly"?
me: No, l-i-l-y is the traditional spelling. I think it's fine.
Joe: ...
me: What?
Joe: Which spelling is cuter?
