Too Much of a Good Thing

Joey is a pretty helpful guy.  When I was moving back in June, I spent a good 45 minutes scrubbing and bleaching the old bathroom to make sure it was gleaming so I could get my security deposit back, emerging to realize Joe was using that same time to scrub the kitchen, unasked and unprompted.  He hung all the photo frames in my new apartment.  Put together the bookcase.  He unloads the dishwasher and does all the chopping when we cook.  He fills the dirty pots with soap and hot water so they can soak.  When we're out and about, he reaches over and gives my shoulders a quick rub and squeeze because he knows that's where I hold all my stress.

But sometimes he's too helpful.  Like when he decides to delete my entire internet browsing history to make my internet "run faster".  Except that I don't bother to save websites to favorites or memorize their web addresses.  Because it's easier to just type "a" and then see all the websites I go to that start with an "a" and pick the one I want and go from there.  So all my frequently viewed websites are gone and I can't seem to remember more than 1/3 of them.

Somebody needs to get himself over here and start rubbing my shoulders.
